"We Agree: Creating a Parenting Plan"

Do you work with families who are parenting apart?

Would you like to learn more about the dynamics of co-parenting?

Are you interested in learning about parenting plans?

" We Agree: Creating a Parenting Plan," is a tool developed by the University of Minnesota Extension Service.

In Minnesota, parents can now use parenting plans to spell out details about the care of their children when they parent in separate households. A well thought out parenting plan will help families successfully co-parent.

Research tells us that children do best when their parents who are both involved in their life. Sharing the care is one of the best ways this happens.

We Agree: Creating a Parenting Plan
A workshop for parents who care for their children in separate homes

When families change–through separation, divorce, re-marriage or a paternity action, a whole new set of challenges arises for parents and their children. Decisions need to be made about where children will live, how parents will share parenting time, rules, activities, education and many other elements of daily care.

We Agree: Creating a Parenting Plan is a 90 minute workshop developed by the University of Minnesota Extension – Parents Forever program.  It gives parents a roadmap to help them develop a parenting plan that meets the needs of their children.  Participants will receive a copy of the 52 page booklet We Agree: Creating a Parenting Plan at no charge.

May 21, 2008
