Adolescents impact families in many exciting and challenging ways. The Families with Teens program seeks to contribute to building family strengths through improving family communication and decision making, strengthening parent-teen relationships, and increasing parental satisfaction and confidence in their parenting role during adolescence.

Updates

The Teen Talk fact sheet series has been updated and is now available is different packaging combinations. Based on customer’s requests, each of the fact sheets will now be available by itself (in packages with 25 copies). Still have a need for copies of all of the fact sheets? They will now also be available in packages which contain one copy of each of the 12 different fact sheets.

Talk to Teen About Alcohol Use
Parents of teens typically worry if their adolescent is experimenting with alcohol. That worry is with good cause. Recent studies show that approximately 75 percent of high school students have tried alcohol. Parents can play a big role in prevention.
